What is Wheelchair Racing and Adaptive Track and Field?

Adaptive Track & Field is the largest adaptive sports program in the world. This sport has the largest number of athletes because of the wide diversity in the events available to athletes. Things that were once unimaginable have become possible by both advances in technology, and athletes dedication to this sport.

Who can participate?

This adaptive sport is available to athletes with all types of disabilities. Many athletes compete with wheelchairs, some with prostheses, and others with blindness or visual impairments. As with other adaptive sports, Track & Field athletes compete depending on their classifications in the events they are participating in.
