What is it?
A hand cycle is a type of land vehicle that is powered by your hands, rather than your legs. There are many different companies who have designed, and sell handcycles for personal and competitive use. Most handcycles all have a common design and are powered by standard hand cranks. The brakes are often mounted towards the front of the cycle and are near the steering cranks.
Who can Participate?
Anyone can participate in hand cycling as long as they have some use of their upper body!
